Guā Shā
Guā (刮) = to scrape, rub, or stroke
Shā (痧) = the reddish or purple marks that appear on the skin (often called “sha,” referring to stagnation, petechiae, or surface-level toxins/heat.
Handmade by our whanau using pounamu, this taonga is a tool used as part of a self love practice for all to enjoy... The oils in your skin will naturally be absorbed into the pounamu over time, as you get to know the pounamu, the pounamu gets to know you....
